When two friends, Danny and Wheeler, find themselves involved in an incident that leads them to community service, their lives take an unexpected turn. Each is struggling with their own sense of responsibility and adulthood, but the last thing they want is to spend their days helping a group of kids. However, as part of their assignment, they must become mentors to two minors in a youth guidance program.
Danny, with his usual sarcasm, is paired with the quirky Augie, a kid who is a huge fan of fantasy role-playing games and the world of epic medieval tales. Meanwhile, Wheeler befriends a troubled young man who tries to act tough. What starts as a challenge soon turns into a transformative experience for both the adults and the kids. As the relationships develop, Danny and Wheeler begin to realize that being a true "adult" means much more than just taking on responsibilities; it also involves inspiring others and being a good example.
Amidst comedic mishaps and moments of reflection, these four characters learn valuable lessons about friendship, maturity, and the importance of never losing sight of fun in life. Together, they will discover that, although things donβt always go as expected, true human connection can change everything.
