In Berlin in 1923, with the city on the brink of collapse and the imminent arrival of the Nazi regime, a circus of decay and strangeness serves as the backdrop for a haunting narrative. When Abel Rosenberg, an American of Jewish descent, arrives in the city in search of new opportunities, his life takes an unexpected turn as he crosses paths with the enigmatic and disturbing world of the circus. Abandoned by his past and tormented by his inner demons, Abel becomes an unwitting witness to the rising tensions and growing social instability.

At the same time, he meets a fascinating and complex woman who drags him into a dark web of secrets, betrayals, and violence. The relationship between them evolves into an explosive mix of passion and desperation, as the forces of fate seem to conspire against them. Meanwhile, the atmosphere in Berlin becomes increasingly ominous and oppressive, reflecting the chaos and social disintegration that threatens to engulf those trapped within it.

Set against the backdrop of a crucial historical period, this story explores the fragility of human morality and the struggle for survival in a crumbling world. With an intense atmosphere and a disturbing narrative, the film immerses us in the perception of hopelessness and alienation, offering a chilling glimpse into life in times of crisis.
