A Slight Case of Murder

In a typical New York mansion, a famous and extravagant theater producer, who has been on the brink of bankruptcy, wakes up one day to discover a corpse in his living room. As soon as he attempts to dispose of the body, he finds himself ensnared in a series of comedic mishaps involving the police and his own circle of eccentric friends. The producer, played by a charismatic lead, becomes the main suspect, even though deep down he is a well-meaning man solely seeking to reclaim his reputation.

The situation complicates when a group of somewhat bumbling criminals enters the scene, determined to retrieve something that ceased to be a simple murder case and transformed into a game of cat and mouse. While the protagonist juggles to keep his name clean, his accomplices, including an equally inept detective and a cunning lady’s companion, find themselves immersed in a sea of confusion. Hilarious situations unfold: mistaken identities, unexpected twists, and of course, a romantic touch.

Amid all the chaos, a web of secrets and surprises is unveiled, putting the wit of everyone involved to the test. With a touch of slapstick and a good pace, this dark comedy explores the fine line between crime and comedy in a world where nothing is as it seems.
