In a gloomy and enigmatic London, a Russian exile, Dr. Montague, lives reclusively in his mysterious mansion alongside his wife, the seductive and aging Eugenie. Both have developed an unconventional technique that allows them to experience an intense telepathic connection with others; they can literally "enter" the minds of their subjects. Their monotonous life takes an unexpected turn when they encounter a young and handsome stranger, an appealing vagabond who ignites curiosity and desire in Eugenie.

Intrigued by the possibilities of this new connection, Montague decides to use the young man as his guinea pig. As the process unfolds, the story takes on a dark and twisted tone, revealing the dangers of playing with the limits of the human mind. Eugenie's fascination with the young man grows, causing her to lose control and plunge into a whirlwind of passion and obsession. The telepathic bond becomes a kind of dangerous game where the boundaries between reality and illusion begin to blur.

With unexpected twists and a palpable air of suspense, the film unravels themes of power, desire, and the struggle for mental control, leading us to question the consequences of our darkest impulses. A blend of psychological horror and fascination with the occult, the story drives us to a chilling climax where madness and passion intertwine in a surreal and terrifying manner.
