We All Loved Each Other So Much

Set in 1970s Italy, this story captures the friendship, love, and disappointments of three friends: Antonio, Gianni, and Luciana. After fighting together in the resistance during World War II, their lives are transformed in the postwar era as they attempt to find their place in a changing society. Each carries their own emotional scars and broken dreams, but their friendship endures through the decades.

Antonio, a committed idealist, struggles to maintain his vision of a better world, while Gianni, pragmatic and cynical, has adapted to bourgeois life and the monotony of everyday existence. On the other hand, Luciana, a symbol of love and sacrifice, grapples with her desire for freedom and the expectations imposed upon her by society.

Through romantic entanglements and internal conflicts, the film explores the bonds that unite these three characters, exposing their aspirations and frustrations. As time progresses, they are forced to confront their past decisions and reevaluate what it truly means to love and be loved. With touches of comedy and drama, this story shows us how the choices of youth can resonate over the years, leaving an indelible mark on their lives and their friendship. In the end, the question arises: is it possible to reconcile the dreams of youth with the harsh reality of adult life?
