A large part of us grew up watching Disney animated movies, such as The Lion King, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, among many others. It is difficult to deny that they became part of our childhood and permeated into the general culture, to become an obligatory reference in conversations between friends.
But today, Disney has been in charge of bringing many of these films to "live action" versions, so that the new generations can enjoy them, although many of us who grew up with their original versions feel offended.
What are "live action" movies?
The title of "Live Action", real image, real images or flesh and blood, is granted to all those television series or films that were created from the adaptation of written media or animated series.
That is, the images and sequences have been obtained by direct filming of real actors and elements. This term is used especially for adaptations, made with real actors, of cartoon or comic series or movies.
Some of the films that Disney has taken from animation to live action are:
- Peter Pan
- The jungle book
- The Lion King
- Beauty and the Beast
- Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
- 101 Dalmatians
- Cinderella
- Aladdin
- Mulan
- Dumbo
What are Disney princesses?
Disney princesses are those heroines of various films owned by The Walt Disney who are princesses or who become princesses in the development of their respective films.
There are also some Disney princesses that have been brought to the big screen but by other producers, since many of the stories they tell are from folklore and popular culture, for which Disney does not have the rights.
Next we will show you some of these Disney princesses that have been played by beautiful actresses of flesh and blood.
