In this intriguing story set in the 1920s, we follow the lives of three childhood friends: Eddie, a World War I veteran returning home with hopes of a bright future, and his two friends—a cunning criminal and a sweet yet defiant girl who has managed to get by in a world full of temptations. After a series of misunderstandings and impulsive decisions, Eddie finds himself drawn into a life of crime to survive in a society that glorifies both wealth and decadence.

Meanwhile, their friendship begins to crack as personal ambitions collide, turning this camaraderie into a frantic competition for control and success. However, the allure of a life of luxury and excess promised by the rise of Prohibition also brings unexpected dangers and betrayals. Set against a backdrop of jazz and intertwined love stories, the characters must confront the consequences of their choices, which quickly devolve into a deadly game in which not everyone will come out unscathed.

In a sea of consumerism and crime, the film explores the dark side of the American Dream and the sacrifices required to reach the top. Hopes fade, and what begins as a quest for happiness transforms into a journey of self-discovery filled with dramatic twists and difficult decisions that will change their lives forever.
