In a French city filled with lights and shadows, a disastrous criminal named Mouloud finds himself in a compromised situation after a botched heist. Cornered, his life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with an enigmatic and unconventional man named Francis. The latter is a former cabaret singer who has seen better days and now lives a melancholic existence, away from the spotlight and steeped in despondency.

After a chance encounter, Mouloud, with his rough and straightforward style, and Francis, who seems more like a lost soul than a partner in crime, end up forming an unusual duo. Together, they embark on a series of absurd and comedic situations as they try to escape the consequences of the heist. As they progress, the relationship between them becomes the heart of the story; Mouloud begins to see in Francis more than just a partner in mischief, and Francis finds in Mouloud a spark of life he thought was lost.

In a whirlwind of laughter, mishaps, and touching moments, this peculiar pair faces not only their past and their struggle for a better future but also the surprising human connection that forms between them. With doses of dark humor and emotional drama, the narrative takes us on an unexpected journey where friendship becomes the greatest liberation.
