A next-generation shoe designer, Drew Baylor, faces an existential crisis after his latest project fails spectacularly, plunging him into a deep depression. His life seems like total chaos until he receives the news of his father's death, a man with whom he never had a real connection. Forced to return to his small hometown in Kentucky for the funeral, Drew finds himself in a sea of losers and forgotten memories, where he discovers that life is more than just work and success.

Amidst the whirlwind of emotions, he meets Claire, a charming and energetic flight attendant with a unique perspective on life. Through this chance encounter, Drew begins to rediscover his sense of purpose and starts to see things differently. Claire becomes a sort of spiritual guide who helps him navigate his feelings of loss and pain, as they together explore the surrealism of a life that seems somewhat tragic.

As he prepares for the funeral, Drew also confronts memories of his father and family expectations. As the plot unfolds, the story becomes a hymn to resilience, love, and redemption, showing that sometimes losing ourselves along the way is the only way to truly find ourselves. With a touch of humor and a captivating soundtrack, this is an adventure both inward and outward that resonates with anyone who has struggled to find their place in the world.
